18/01/2017 Hiking in Bukhansan National Park
Today I went hiking with Mr Kim In Bukhansan National Park.
We did 4 peaks.
At first I was a little disappointed that the air was not clear and we could not see very far. As we walked upward however the clouds turned to snow and everything was lightly dusted with light falling snow. It was perfect because it was not enough to make things slippery but everthing looked very picturesque covered in snow.
The walk was not too far but I was tired from skiing yesterday so I am glad Mr Kim chose a fairly easy route (for him at least - he does a lot of hiking),
Pictures to follow.

17/01/2017 Skiing at Bear Town Seoul
Today Ella, Kiyeon JiWon and I went skiing. The weather was pretty much perfect below zero and no wind.
I was surprised that both JiWon and Ella could remember how to ski from last time. The last time we went skiing was the years ago. Both have improved.

7/1/2017 Authentic Cambodian Homestay
So we slept the night in our new downmarket accomomdation, quite a contrast to the first part of the trip which was dominated by highrise Condo's and fairly luxurious accomodation.
Now we are staying at a homestay in a small town in Cambodia on farmland. While typing this I am sitting in a hammock (we still have internet connectivity - you have to love Asia!). It is very peacful and today we are not doing too much but giving Ella a chance to recover further. She is OK but her stomach still hurts sometime.
Our room is rudimentary and reminds me a lot of our first visit to Cambodia. Cold water and bare concrete walls. Photos will follow when I download them from the camera.

6/1/2017 Fly to Cambodia today
Today we fly to Cambodia. We have a night trip so right at the moment we are having out in the very comfortable garden of our condo waiting for a7pm flight.
After waiting for a couple of hours in the garden we caught the sky train with all of our gear. Luckily we got on at a station that wasn't too crowded and the trip was pretty good. We went right to the end of the line and from there caught an express airport bus. Everything worked out well.
Our flight was delayed by an hour but that was fine. We just hung out in the airport.
On arrival there was someone with a sign for Gary and we went to the guesthouse by TukTuk. It was really in the country side, Dirt roads and limited electricity. Photos will no doubt follow over the next couple of days.
5/1/2017 - Thailand -
Ella is still not feeling well so we spent the day sitting around. Her temperature is now normal but she still has some pain in her stomach. We are thinking that she will be OK to fly to Cambodia tomorrow. We had to hang around in the lawn of the condo and kill some time, but it was a pretty nice place to hang out for a couple of hours.

4/11/2017 Ella Feeling Sick
Woke up this morning to find Ella running a temperature. We gave her some isoburafen and after about an hour her temperature is under control.
We have to check out of the apartment at 12:00 however we only have to move a fairly small distance to the next appartment, since Ella is sick we will take a taxi so that should be easier that having to catch the subway.
We made it to the new apartment and Ella has slept pretty much all day.
We are wondering if we will be able to go to Cambodia in a couple of days time.
23:30 UPDATE - Ella is still running a temperature and has been resting all day. I am thinking that if the fever is not broken by tomorrow we will have to cancel Cambodia which will be sad. She has no major symptoms (no rashes, only mildly sore stomach and little nausea). She seems to be able to keep water inside her no problem which is good.
